Abstract

Bullying is unpleasant verbal, physical, or social behavior in the real world or in cyberspace that makes someone feel uncomfortable, hurt, or depressed either by a person or a group. This study aims to examine the effect of group counseling to reduce students' bullying behavior. The research was conducted on students of class X IIS MAN in the academic year 2022/2023. This study uses experimental research methods, namely pre-experimental. The research design used was a pretest posttest design with a quantitative approach. Sample using purposive sampling technique Data collection using the questionnaire method. The data analysis technique uses non-parametric statistics, namely the Wilcoxon test with the help of the SPSS for Windows version 21 program. Where in the conclusion if this Wilcoxon test, if asymp.sig < 0,05 then the hypothesis is rejected. If probability asymp.sig > 0,05 then the hypothesis is accepted. And the results of the Wilcoxon test > 0,05 is 0,27 then the hypothesis in this test is accepted.
