Membudayakan Minat Baca Anak-Anak Desa Tunggul Wulung Kecamatan Pandaan Kabupaten Pasuruan Melalui Taman Baca

Abstract
College student can actualize scholarship learned on campus and be trained together with leadership through Real Work Lecturer or we mostly said Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). From here, we need to develop literature for village students. So in this KKN-BBM, our group 149 whose held a Kuliah Kerja Nyata in Tunggul Wulung Village, Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency had been doing observation first. From our observation, the reading interest of children in Tunggul Wulung Village has not been weel-established because they did not have the village library yet. So, we took the initiative to provide reading socialization to children of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mitahul Ulum where MI Miftahul Ulum is the only primary school in Tunggul Wulung Village that still needs to learn face-toface in this New Normal period, although it cannot be fully applied as it was before pandemic. Through reading socialization in MI Miftahul Ulum, we held a Reading Park at Hamlet Hall Rejoso, Tunggulwulung Village for two days, Wednesday and Thursday. Through the Reading Park we held, MI Miftahul Ulum’s Children begin to feel interested in reading. It is happened beacuse the event supported by presenting snacks, quiz that cointained social knowledges, basic knowledge of Islamic religion, natural science, and also mathematics. From here, we will discuss about the development of children in Tunggul Wulung Village through the Reading Park movement which will support the spirit of the children of Tunggul Wulung Village to read and and this will be very beneficial for them. After this Reading Park ended, we assembled book that we bought to be donated to Tunggul Wulung Village that will build the village library. From her, we need to improve literacy networks for children in Tunggul Wulung.
